Once you arrive, check into your hotel and relax after your travels. In the evening, you can explore the famous Mall Road, enjoy the quaint cafes, and take in the colonial charm. A visit to The Ridge offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and is perfect for a relaxing evening walk.
After breakfast, set out to explore the beautiful sights of Shimla. Begin your day with a visit to Kufri, a picturesque spot known for its panoramic landscapes and adventure activities like skiing and horse riding during the winter months. Later, return to Shimla to explore The Ridge and the iconic Christ Church, one of the oldest in North India. End your day with a visit to Jakhoo Temple, perched on a hilltop and dedicated to Lord Hanuman, offering breathtaking views of the town and surrounding hills.
Today after breakfast, check out and begin your journey toward Kasol, a serene village in the Parvati Valley. The drive takes around 6 to 7 hours, passing through pine forests, mountain roads, and riverside landscapes. On arrival in Kasol, check into your hotel and relax. The evening is free to explore the laid-back charm of Kasol, enjoy the riverside cafes, or simply take in the peace and quiet of this tranquil destination.
Day 4: Kasol – Manikaran Excursion
After breakfast, take a short drive to Manikaran, a sacred spiritual destination located on the banks of the Parvati River. Visit the famous Manikaran Gurudwara, known for its hot water springs believed to have medicinal properties. Take a dip in the springs or enjoy the serene atmosphere of the gurudwara and nearby temples. After exploring the spiritual side of the valley, return to Kasol and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Post breakfast, check out and depart for Manali, a beautiful hill station offering a blend of adventure, culture, and nature. The drive takes around 3 to 4 hours through scenic mountain routes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along Manali's Mall Road, lined with local shops, cafes, and eateries, perfect for souvenirs or a cozy dinner.
Start your day with a visit to the ancient Hidimba Devi Temple, surrounded by tall deodar trees and steeped in local mythology. Continue your journey to Solang Valley, a hub for adventure enthusiasts where you can try paragliding, zorbing, ropeway rides, and more, depending on the season. Later, visit the Vashisht Hot Springs, known for their healing properties, or head to Old Manali to experience a quieter, more rustic side of the town.
Today is reserved for a memorable excursion to Rohtang Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, offering panoramic views of the snow-covered Himalayas. Please note, visiting Rohtang requires permits and is subject to weather conditions. If Rohtang is closed, you'll be taken to the Snow Point in Solang Valley instead, where you can enjoy snow-based activities like skiing, snowboarding, and playing in the snow. After an adventurous day, return to Manali for a relaxed evening.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your drive back to Chandigarh, which takes around 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, enjoy scenic pit stops or a quick meal break. If time permits upon arrival in Chandigarh, visit local attractions like Sukhna Lake or the Rose Garden. Finally, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey, taking with you beautiful memories of the mountains.
